It’s time to party! Chili’s is celebrating its 50th birthday with a boozy bargain.
Opened in 1975, the chain’s first location was a converted postal station in Dallas, Texas. Known for its American fare and Tex-Mex cuisine, Chili’s now has more than 1,500 locations worldwide.
And, of course, they’re also known for serving lots of great drinks — alongside its popular burgers, ribs and fajitas.

To mark the milestone, on March 13, 2025, Chili’s is offering its signature Presidente Margarita for just $5 at participating locations. Even better, the margarita is served in a commemorative cup to take home.
The signature drink is made with Lunazul Reposado Tequila, Citrónge Extra Fine Orange Liqueur and E&J Brandy. Available in classic, blackberry, mango, strawberry or watermelon.
The signature margarita regularly sells for $9.50, so it’s nearly 50% off. It’s the best price Chili’s offers on the popular drink all year long. Regular price may vary by location.
To keep the fun going, Chili’s is also offering The Lemon Drop Marg for only $6 throughout March — made with Espolon Reposado, Triple Sec, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka and house-made sour.
Make it a date night! Combine the birthday margarita deal with the Chili’s popular 3 For Me meal deal (a soft drink, appetizer and entrée) for an inexpensive night out with friends or family.
