Many churches and congregations are offering Easter Services and celebrations, some are outside, for faith-based observances of the spring holiday which takes place on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Click on the links and contact the hosts to confirm times and capacity. Happy Easter!

10am-12pm – Easter Egg Hunt Spectacular, New Life Baptist Church, 6229 Osborne Tpke, Henrico, VA 23231 – Easter Egg Hunt Spectacular for the community. The church will have over 1,000 eggs filled with all kinds of goodies for your children, a moon bounce, games, and some warm breakfast items. There might even be a visit from the Easter Bunny.

10am – Community Easter Egg Hunt at Friendship Baptist Church, RVA

10am – Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt and Crafts at Bethany Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 5400 Forest Hill Ave, Richmond, VA – RSVP required. Click “Get Tickets” to RSVP. Masks and social distancing required.

11am-1pm – Community Easter Egg Hunt at Freedom Henrico, 8917 Fargo Rd, Henrico, VA 23229 Includes pictures with the Easter Bunny and egg hunt for Kids up to 11years old.

12pm –Community Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny at Western Hanover Church

10 am Easter with Mosaic Church at Historic Polegreen Church, Hanover – Join Mosaic Church on April 4th, Easter Sunday, for a special outdoor event at Historic Pole Green Church! Directly following service, we’ll be hosting an Egg Hunt for toddlers through 5th grade. (Baskets will be provided.) Mosaic is a new church plant in Mechanicsville rooted in historical Christianity and geared to engage the modern age with the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ. April 4, 2021 at 6:30 am -Outdoor Easter Sunrise Service at Dogwood Dell, 600 S Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220 sponsored by Bethlehem Lutheran Church – Richmond, VA – Create a new tradition this year and join us for a beautiful Easter sunrise service in honor of Christ’s resurrection. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Bethlehem has led this service for over 50 years and we invite you to share in the joy and fellowship. Sunrise service will begin at 6:30am at Dogwood Dell Amphitheater (Byrd Park between the Carrillon and the Maymont Farm gate). Parking is available adjacent to the amphitheater. Masks are required (and provided if needed). Social distancing will be observed. Please bring warm clothing as the morning air tends to be chilly; also bring chairs and/or blankets if you do not wish to sit directly on the stone seating. Following the sunrise service, you are invited to the church’s traditional morning worship service at 10:00 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Bethlehem Lutheran Church is located at 1100 W. Grace St. across from the VCU Siegel Center. Street parking is available around the church as well as in the VCU West Broad St. parking deck (Corner of Broad and Harrison Streets).
