Featherfin Family Services is a mission-first organization, providing families the opportunity to play and learn outdoors, with other families.

Featherfin provides 100% outdoor programs and activities for families with children (primarily young children in the 2 to 8 age range).

The mission is to provide offerings that center joy, community connection, and playful learning.

Owner, Kim McCray, is a Certified Master Naturalist, certified play-based educator, and former storytime librarian with a huge passion for the benefits that that the natural world offers for child and family wellbeing!

Featherfin New Programming

Featherfin is kicking off a brand new series called Park Play Residencies! The program offerings include a full 7 week season of Tinkergarden nature play classes, as well as single, drop-in nature play date minis, and nature themed story times.

These classes and activities provide families and children with a warm and welcoming, outdoor loving space where kids can be kids, and we all learn together, grown-ups too.

BOGO Sibling Discount

Currently offering: BOGO sibling deal for all 3 of our Tinkergarten classes. This a super steal (a $133, 7 week class for Free!!).

Often multiple child households struggle to afford these programs, so hopefully this can also give some new children a chance to enjoy a class they might not otherwise be able to take.

PROMO CODE

The first time a customer enrolls in a Tall Tree Tales: Early Literacy Storytime and/or a Nature Playdate Minis they can sign-up for FREE!

These programs are drop-in programs and customers can pick from various dates to attend.

The code for enrolling in a storytime for free is FREETREE!
The code for enrolling in a Nature Playdate Mini for free is FREEPLAY!

If customers want to purchase sessions (before or after they attend their free trial session), they can also save $1 on each of those programs by purchasing a Class Pack of 6 sessions.

Regular prices for single sessions are $9 for the Playdate Mini and $7 for the storytime, so the packs save families $6. These class packs can be applied to any open date and rollover from one season to the next.
