Garden admission is FREE for January and February, so get out and stroll around this 16th century Tudor manor! Even if you can’t make it in February, Agecroft Hall & Gardens are worth paying a visit.
This place is a win/win – the whole family will love it! The beauty, the history, kids can run freely, nature..it’s got everything…and the fact that strolling around this majestic garden is offered for FREE through February is just mind-blowing!

Highlights of the garden include: the gorgeous river views, scenic walk, plenty of open space for kids to run, and it is the PERFECT picnic venue!
When you arrive, check in at reception where you will get a map. We love taking the “Woodland Walk”, a minute walk right next to the river. There is a bench along the way to rest or have a snack break.

Once we return to where we can see the back of the house, my kids love running through the “Turf Maze”. On lucky days, we have spotted trains coming through just past the river. We typically walk about 2 miles total.
While we’ve never done the house tour, we always check out the Tudor Kitchen display on the way out. Be sure to visit in the spring, too, as the Sunken Garden is filled with beautiful tulips!
The Gardens are open Tuesday – Sunday, noon – 5PM.
