Ashland is participating in a statewide initiative, Play All Day VA  to create a day full of FREE fun for all!

FREE activities: fishing at DeJarnette Park, a Page Path at Pufferbelly Park, a painted rock scavenger hunt, and a pool party at Carter Park Pool!

  • Hooked on Fishing – Discover your love of fishing with bamboo poles (provided). Visit ashlandmuesum.com to register!
  • Page Path – Enjoy a stroll and a book! Thanks to the Ashland Library for sponsoring Waiting for the Biblioburro.
  • Rock the Parks – Find painted rocks hidden in our parks, painted by community members at the Strawberry Faire. 
  • Carter Park Pool Party – Free, with music, giveaways, and games!
