Just as you can check out DVDs, books, Virginia State Parks Nature Backpacks, you can also check out TOYS!
How to check out toys
You can search “toy” on the Chesterfield County Public Library Catalog online and put the toys your child would like on hold at a branch convenient to you.
Alternatively, there are cards in the Children’s Section with pictures of the available toys. Simply take the one you want to the librarian’s desk and they’ll retrieve it for you to check out that day.
You MUST have a library card to check out toys. In order to get a library card you will need proof of address, photo ID, and a completed application (find online or request at the library).
You have 21 days with the item and it will automatically renew 3 times (unless on hold).
Be sure to return your items on time and free of damage to avoid fines!
Items range from oversized toddler puzzles to parachutes, and even ukuleles!!
