Every spring when I clean out my children’s drawers and closets. I sort items that no longer fit and am often sad about how quickly my kids are growing and also that they were only able to wear many items of clothing a couple of times before outgrowing them.
While I love dressing my children in adorable clothing, I do not particularly enjoy paying full, retail prices to do so.
Enter: Kid’s Clothing Consignment stores! I love purchasing clothing from these shops for several reasons:
- Reduced prices
- Better for the environment (clothes are being used again, versus sitting in a landfill.
- The thrill of the hunt – yes, I’ll admit, I love a good deal, and finding upscale name-brand clothing items with tags still on for a deep, discounted price really does bring me satisfaction.
Here are a few consignment stores in the Richmond area, specifically for children’s clothing, where you can not only find great deals to buy, but also bring in those items that no longer fit and possibly earn money for them.
