Virginia Aquarium

The Virginia Aquarium offers a $2 off Aquarium admission to active duty military personnel, immediate family members, and retired military with a valid ID. Discounted tickets for the whole family are available at most MWR offices. Choose between admission to the aquarium only or a combination that includes a 3D IMAX movie. And make sure you plan for a boat excursion like Dolphin Watching, Cruise the Creek, and Winter Wildlife.

Virginia Living Museum

Year-round offer. Visit the Virginia Living Museum Admissions Desk with a military photo ID and receive 10% off a general membership or $1 off per family member for daily admission tickets.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Free Admission to Military Personnel and Their Families. As year-round participant of Blue Star Museums, VMFA provides FREE admission to special exhibitions for all active duty, National Guard, and Reserve military personnel and their immediate families. This benefit can be used by up to five immediate family members (spouses and children) per visit when accompanied by the military family member, but is also available to immediate family of deployed military with proper military identification. The Blue Star Museums program is a partnership between Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for the Arts and more than 1,000 museums across the country.
