This March 1-3, 2024, Jeff Devlin (jeffdevlin.net), carpenter, woodworker, and host of HGTV’s “Stone House Revival,” brings his historic home restoration and renovation expertise to the River City as one of two celebrity home design guests at the Richmond Home + Garden Show at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
Presented by Woodfin: Your Home Team, the Richmond Home + Garden Show (richmondhomeandgarden.com, @richmondhomeshows on Facebook and Instagram) showcases everything homeowners could want, need, or envision to make their home improvement and landscape design ideas a reality.
With access to more than 250 exhibitors (50+ ALL-NEW!), from local and national home remodeling and construction pros to garden and landscaping experts, the Richmond Home + Garden Show is the one-stop location for kick-starting your next home improvement project, whether that’s a dreamy backyard oasis or a kitchen, bathroom, garage, or other renovation.
As host of “Stone House Revival,” Jeff and crew renovate rundown houses around Bucks and Chester County, Penn., reviving these dilapidated abodes into modern living spaces while preserving their historic integrity.
Jeff, also the owner of custom woodworking company SchoolHouse Woodworking, LLC, has many shows under his belt for HGTV, DIY Network, and Magnolia Network, including “I Hate My Bath,” “Ellen’s Design Challenge,” “In With the Old,” and “Spice Up My Kitchen.”
Jeff presents on the Fresh Ideas Stage March 1 at 1PM, March 2 at Noon, and March 3 at 1PM on “Three Pro Tips to Ensure Your Project is Successful,” plus woodworking demos March 2 at 2PM and 4PM.
Joining Jeff at the Richmond Home + Garden Show is Virginia Chamlee (instagram.com/vchamlee), life-long vintage collector, People Magazine writer, and author of the bestseller, “Big Thrift Energy: The Art and Thrill of Finding Vintage Treasures – Plus Tips for Making Old Feel New.” Virginia is an expert at finding incredible things, from Christian Dior capes at Goodwill to $10,000 trunks for less than $100 at consignment shops.
After sourcing vintage for A-list celebrities and designers for years, she compiled all of her tips in her book, which has been featured on NBC News, Architectural Digest, The Washington Post, and was named one of Elle Magazine’s “50 Most Stylish Coffee Table Books.”
Virginia will be presenting on the Fresh Ideas Stage each day of the show (dates TBA), sharing everything you need to know about shopping for affordable vintage home décor and styling it for the modern home.
