you either know me or know someone who knows me. This early on, Google wants nothing to do with a site as young as RVA on the Cheap.
But you will. Why? RVA on the Cheap gives you ways to see & do more in Richmond for less. You’ll find out about free concert series, cheap theatre tickets, coupons for restaurants, & more. It’s a simple mission: Have fun. Be cheap.
If you want a taste of what you’re in for, check out my other site: Atlanta on the Cheap. Though I now call Atlanta home, Richmond is my hometown, and I visit a few times each year.
Since my friends & family knew about my Atlanta site, I couldn’t get through any trip without hearing “Jenn, when are you going to start Richmond on the Cheap?” So here it is. You got what you wanted; now you’re charged with the mission of spreading the word.
In a way, RVA on the Cheap will become my “List of Awesome Happenings in Richmond” vacation planner. And as I often plan my trips at the last minute, you can be certain that the site will be updated as frequently as if I lived there full time. Plus, I have a couple of awesome local minions & lots of contacts in the area who will help me stay in the know.
Oh, and when you’re traveling, look for local deals on one of the other “on the cheap” sites in the Cities on the Cheap network. You’ll find quite a few ways to save.
